Η ITRA διοργανώνει το πρώτο Παγκόσμιο Πρωτάθλημα Ορεινού Τρεξίματος και Trail Running (WMTRC) στην νέα του μορφή, το οποίο θα φιλοξενήσει περισσότερους από 900 κορυφαίους αθλητές από 46 Ομοσπονδίες μέλη και θα πραγματοποιηθεί μεταξύ 3 & 6 Νοεμβρίου στο Chiang Mai της Ταϋλάνδης.

The community of Innsbruck-Stubai will bring the WMTRC to Tyrol at the beginning of June 2023, after a very competitive bidding process overseen by the event partners theb  International Association of Ultrarunners , the International Trail Running Association and the World Mountain Running Association alongside World Athletics. The Tyrolean application was considered to be very professional, building on its proven event experience and excellent reputation as a leading alpine sports region.
