Olympus is a mythical mountain. The view of the legendary high-peaks, where the gods were supposed to live, always caused awe to humans, especially during the ancient years, where they used to form processions and climb to the top of the mountain in order to sacrifice animals for propitiating the Gods that lived there. The throne of Zeus, an amazing geological formation just under Olympus peak, which someone sees just after reaching the plateau of the Muses, testifies the importance of this mountain for humans for thousands of years.
