Latest registrations and presentation of the Costa Brava and Pyrenees Stage Run in Barcelona!

The two stage races of Catalonia will be presented next Thursday, March 22, at Intemperie store in Barcelona. The organizers will explain in detail the characteristics of the races with audiovisuals and a lottery of material at the end of the event. The CBSR is about to close registrations one month before the race with runners from several countries and a good list of headliners.

 

Next Thursday, March the 22nd at 7.30pm, the Costa Brava Stage Run (CBSR) will be presented at Intemperie store (C/Villaroel, 184) in Barcelona. It will be a good time to meet the organizers, who will explain in detail the program and organization of both the Pyrenees Stage Run (PSR), which will be held next September, and the CBSR, which will take place from April the 20th to the 22nd between Blanes and Portbou, in two routes divided into 3 stages, one of 125km and another of 85km.

 

The Costa Brava Stage Run (http://cbsr.run), has registered runners from all around the world: Canada, Poland, Denmark, Austria, Czech Republic, The Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland or France, and is about to close registrations at the limit of 100 participants which was the goal in this first edition.

 

Registrations can be processed through their website util the 31st of March. Apart from the international presence in the race, we must also highlight the presence of top-level runners who will fight for the top positions of the race as Toti Bes, Emma Roca, Stephane Vinot, Imanol Aleson, Imma Boada or Harriet Kjaer.

 

The Pyrenees Stage Run (http://psr.run), will take place from September 2 to 8 between Ribes de Freser and Salardú, with a new finish in the 6th stage in Esterri d'Àneu. The route has 240km and 15000m of positive elevation, divided into 7 stages, passing through Andorra and crossing 5 Natural Parks along the route. The registrations are still open and for this third edition with great attraction from international runners with participants from Austria, the United Kingdom, Canada, Argentina, Norway, Alaska or Germany.

 

Both races want to follow the same concept in which runners do not have to worry about anything other than running and where the everyday dinner altogether is the great moment to share the moments lived during the day with the rest of the participants and volunteers. During the dinner, the organization also present the prizes for the winners, the briefing of the next stage and the projection of images of the stage that have just finished.
