The most international edition in CBSR history concludes with outstanding participation and an exceptional atmosphere of community. High temperatures made the course more demanding, but did not prevent the 300 runners from enjoying the beauty of the Camí de Ronda and the Natural Parks.

The Costa Brava Stage Run (CBSR) came to an end today with the arrival of the final runners at the finish line in Colera. After three intense stages starting on Friday in Blanes, the event continues to establish itself as one of the most unique trail running races in Europe, not only for its scenery but also for the intensity of the experience.

A challenge shaped by heat and coastal beauty

Although the weather remained stable and offered clear views of the Mediterranean, the heat became the unexpected protagonist of the weekend. High temperatures added an extra level of difficulty to an already technical and demanding course. Despite the physical effort, overall satisfaction was very high: participants highlighted the organization's attention to detail and the beauty of a route stretching from the cliffs of the Selva Marítima to the almost lunar landscapes of Cap de Creus.

The "Stage Run" spirit: beyond competition

If there is one thing that defines CBSR, it is its atmosphere. Over these three days, the sense of community has been constant. From the excitement at the finish lines to the shared moments during dinners and evening briefings, a great family was formed, bringing together runners from 27 nationalities. Different cultures and languages came together through a shared passion for trail running and respect for the environment.

Clear dominance in competition

From a sporting perspective, this year's edition featured a very high competitive level. In both the 120 km and 80 km races, strong leaders managed their effort and the heat perfectly to maintain their positions throughout all three stages.

The Costa Brava Stage Run is organised by BiFree Sports, a company with extensive experience in organising stage races. In addition to the Brama, they also manage the Brama Stage Run and the Pyrenees Stage Run, events that stand out for offering a unique experience of adventure and challenge in spectacular natural environments. As always, the support of the technical sports clothing brand Tuga Active Wear has been fundamental, as has the institutional backing of the Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Pirineu de Girona, contributing to the success and projection of the event.
