The Pyrenees Stage Run is a race with a high percentage of international participation (90%), and the pandemic affected international travel above all and consequently participation in the PSR. But finally, this 2023, the PSR will once again reach the limit of runners that the race already reached in 2019 with registrations from 22 different nationalities with a majority of Germans, Belgians and Dutch, followed by participants from the United Kingdom, the United States and even further such as Australia, South Africa, Mexico or Argentina among others.

This 7th edition of the race, which will take place from Sunday 3 to Saturday 9 September 2023, presents several changes in the route of the first 3 days, such as a new stage finish in "Vall de Núria", the climb to Puigmal and the end of the stage in La Masella in the 2nd stage. After sleeping in La Masella, a coach will take the runners to the Guils-Fontanera station to start the 3rd stage, which will be shortened in its initial kilometres. All these changes have been made thinking of presenting a more attractive route in the early stages and better comfort for the participants.

The Pyrenees Stage Run is a 7-stage race, with daily runs of about 30km and 2,000m uphill. There are still 16 basic registrations left to participate in the adventure. The basic rgistration includes food-stations, massage on every finish, dinners, transport of luggage, photographs, videos,... but does not include accommodation and breakfast each day. It is a type of registration designed for those who can have accommodation along the route or if you have the possibility of having someone accompany you with a motorhome or camper and live the adventure with you. We have also opened a waiting list for registration with accommodation to fill the places in case there are cancellations.

The other race organized by BiFree Sports, the Costa Brava Stage Run, closed registrations last November with 250 runners and an absolute record for the event. The CBSR will take place from April 14 to 16, 2023 between Blanes and Portbou in 3 stages. Thus, the Costa Brava will receive runners from 28 different nationalities in an edition that promises to be a party and the definitive consolidation after two consecutive years closing registrations.
