Marc Ollé (Grans Espais) finishes second overall and Gerard Morales (Traça) third in a tough and demanding edition. Phurwa Sherpa wins the stage for the sixth consecutive day in the women's category and consolidates the overall. Sonia Martín (Trangoworld) finished second and Nuria Domínguez (Elements Tuga Wear) third.

The Nepalese runner Suman Kulung (Tuga Active Wear), has achieved the treble in the Everest Trail Race by Tuga Active Wear after conquering the general of this eleventh edition. He adds a new triumph to his list of victories after winning in 2017 and 2019. The sixth and last stage between Tyangboche and Lukla (28km and 4,190 metres of accumulated elevation gain) was a quiet stage in the front positions. Suman Kulung (Tuga Active Wear) left the overall clear on yesterday's stage with a memorable duel with Marc Ollé throughout the week. Ollé and Morales, second and third respectively in the overall, completed the stage together and left the Nepalese to enjoy another day at home where he knows where each of the stones of this last journey of the Everest Trail Race by Tuga Active Wear are located.

Kulung, who lost the overall to Miguel Heras last year, has tasted victory again this year with 5 stage wins. Ollé won on the fourth day. Only 2 western riders have managed to win the race over a Nepali. Jordi Gamito in 2018 and Miguel Heras in 2022. "Happy to have finished my first time in the Everest Trail Race. I'm sure I'll be back. It is a spectacular race. A special organisation that makes you enjoy every km. Today I have taken it in a different way. I enjoyed the whole stage with Gerard (Morales). I was in second place and I was very happy to have been able to enjoy the scenery", said Marc Ollé after arriving in Lukla.

In the women's category, Phurwa Sherpa has won all the stages of this edition and achieves her second consecutive victory in the overall of the Everest Trail Race by Tuga Active Wear. Sonia Martín (Trangoworld) finished second and Nuria Domínguez third (Elements Tuga Wear). "Today, although it was downhill, the kilometres are heavy. Very happy and one more experience", explained Sonia Martín at the finish arch where tears of emotion were shed among the participants who embraced each other at the finish line in Lukla after 6 stages, 170km and 26,000 metres of accumulated difference in altitude. Namaste to all of you. We look forward to seeing you next year.
