The twelfth edition of mozart 100 by UTMB will take place on Saturday, June 1, 2024, registrations are now open at https://mozart.utmb.world/. Since 2012, mozart 100 by UTMB has been an integral part of Salzburg's event calendar and takes participants on an extraordinary journey through the beautiful Salzburger Land.

Since 2016 Advendure is continuously taking part as one of the official media partners at Mozart100 by UTMB ultra trail race, held in Salzburg every June. Being one of the most scenic trail race festivals in the world, Mozart100 by UTMB again this year gifted us with a lot of memories and emotions.

Salzburg, 18. June 2023 | The eleventh edition of mozart 100 by UTMB took place on Saturday, June 17th, with the largest and most international starting field to date. Over 2,500 runners from over 70 nations took on the challenges of one of six distances of 105km, 81km, 39km, 31km, 21km and 9km on the trails along the beautiful mountain backdrop of the Salzburger Land.

Last year was a trial one for the UTMB® World Series, as well as for the mozart100 by UTMB®, but it was very successful. The Salzburg race brought thousands of athletes from 60 countries to the historic and picturesque homeland of Mozart, who ran in one of the 6 races of the event and on the trails that cross the beautiful forests, lakes and mountains of Salzburger Land. But what can we expect from this year's event, which will take place on June 17, 2023? What changes are likely to occur, and what does the brand "by UTMB®" bring to the event? Why should an athlete choose it and what will they enjoy by running in one of its races? What is the vision for the future of the successful race, but also for the UTMB® World Series as a whole? “I would like mozart100 by UTMB® be included in the list of thousand things you need to do before you die”, said Josef Mayerhofer, head of the race organization, in his interview with Advendure, shortly before this year's tenth anniversary event. We, in turn, would say to our friend Josef that he is now not far from his goal! Regarding the gorgeous Salzburg and the beauty of Austria we don't need to say much since it is well known, but for the race we clearly have to point out that it is very much upgraded at all levels, it is constantly improving and growing without sacrificing quality even in the slightest, while the enthusiasm and passion of the organizers remains high and this is reflected in the athletes participating. In top of that comes the participation - from this year on - in the UTMB® World Series, with all that this implies.
