After two consecutive years of “sold out” 4 months before the event, the 6th edition of this stage race is presented, which will take place from April 12 to 14, 2024.

The Costa Brava Stage Run, fully consolidated on the national and international calendar, will once again bring together more than 250 runners on the beautiful trails of the Costa Brava, touring its locations for three days. The event, organized by BiFree Sports with the support of Tuga Active Wear and the Costa Brava-Pirineu Tourist Board, will open registrations on Thursday, July 20 at 9 in the morning.

The race offers two distances, the CBSR80K and the CBSR120K. The first stage both modalities run together along 22km between Blanes and Tossa de Mar; in the second and third stages there are two routes, one of 30km and another of 50km. The second stage runs along the central Costa Brava, between Platja d'Aro and L'Estartit, passing through the Natural Park of "Illes Medes i Baix Ter", the short modality will start at Calella de Palafrugell. The third stage runs along the north of the coast, between Roses and Colera, passing through Cadaqués (which is the starting point of the short modality) and the “Cap de Creus” Natural Park. As a novelty, the 3rd stage will see its passage through Cap de Creus slightly modified and a new finish line in Colera, a beautiful and small town, just before Portbou, which will be the finishing point for the 3 days of adventure in Costa Brava.

The organization, specialized in stage races, prioritizes that during the race days the participants only have to worry about running and enjoying the journey. Once registered to the CBSR, the runners only have to train, the rest is all included: food-stations, marking, recovery massage, professional photographers, luggage transport... There is also the option of registering for the "Full Experience", a format where the organization includes the accommodation and dinner in hotels during the race, and bus transportation to the start of the stages. This option delights international runners, who are usually the majority, with a participation of up to 65%, the best way to meet runners from all over the world with the same passion as us.

For more information about all the services included and registration, you can visit their website https://cbsr.run.

BiFree Sports are also the organizers of the Pyrenees Stage Run (https://psr.run), 7 stages in the Pyrenees from September 3 to 9, and the new Brama Stage Run (https://brama.run), 3 stages, which will celebrate its 1st edition from October 20 to 22 in Ribes de Freser.
