3 months to go until the tenth edition of mozart 100 by UTMB®, taking place on June 18, 2022 in Salzburg!
18 Μαρ 2022Salzburg, 18 March 2022 | On June 18, 2022, mozart 100 by UTMB® celebrates its 10th anniversary and takes runners on an extraordinary journey through the beautiful Salzburger Land. A journey that began in 2012 with 250 participants and has steadily grown over the years attracting more and more athletes from around the world. The event continues on this growth path and will host the largest starting field to date. More than 2000 participants from 60 nations are expected for this year's edition.
After evaluating the continued status of the COVID-19 pandemic in Austria with local authorities and the resulting restrictions in place, we regret to announce that the mozart 100® cannot take place in June and has been rescheduled for September 4, 2021.

As some of you may know mozart 100® was created on a flight back from the Coastal Challenge in Costa Rica by a friend of mine and myself. That was back in February 2011. Only 16 months later more than 250 athletes participated in the first edition on June 23, 2012. As part of the Ultra-Trail World Tour®, mozart 100 has become the most important international trail running event in Austria with participants from more than 70 countries across (almost) all continents.
mozart 100® rescheduled to 2021
18 Μάι 2020The past weeks have been characterized by global developments around the Covid-19 pandemic. Here in Austria, our original goal was that the mozart 100® Ultra Trail could take place on 20 June 2020. However, after having assessed all event scenarios and in consultation with event stakeholders following the direction and recommendations by the Austrian Federal Government, we must confirm that the ninth edition of mozart 100® cannot take place in 2020 and will return on 19 June 2021.
